Hi Giri,

this is a BIG question and and requires an answer bigger than I can give on the blog. I'll create another thread for a summary of how to migrate from series7 to series8

I am trying to create a crosstab report that will drill down to a detail report.

I would like the user to be able to click on a dollar amount field.

I need to have the dollar amounts totalled, too, though. But I don't want the total fields to show a link or a drill down feature. Only the amount itself.

But when I create the drill down, it applies it to every amount field, including the totals.

Is there any way to not include the totals?

Thanks!

Hi Venkat,

I'm unsure what you mean by water flow chart. If you require a custom way of showing metrics on a chart you could use map manager. This would mean that your company would have to pay for a new 'map' to be created. You can then integrate this map into report studio and use it in a report.

I hope this helps

Hai Thompson

.the y-axis shows revenue ,x-axis shows producttype and range is years.
if for 2005 the revenue is 2000,and 2006 the revenue is 3000, and 3007 the revenue is 4500

then the graph should show rev 2000 for year 2005,for year 2006 it shld show only the diference data of previous years and current year( eg rev for 2005,2006 is 2000,3000 resp.for year 2006 it shld show rev 1000 visible and remaining 2000 is in visible).
